Keith Alexander Blore

Keith Alexander Blore

Keith Alexander Blore, age 75, of 67 Quail Run and husband of Pamela Lanford Blore, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at his home.

Born in Leicester, England, he was a son of the late James Henry and Mabel Rathwell Blore.
Keith was the owner and founder of Blore Builders, LLC in Mauldin, was a member of First Baptist Church in Laurens and a former member of the Carolina Shag Club. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Eric Blore of Hendersonville, NC; brother, Norman Blore of Greenville. He is also survived by his chosen family, Lee, Julie, Grayson and McKenzie Cooper; the many close friendships he maintained and nurtured throughout his whole life; and his faithful furry companions, Buddy and Tilly.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Woodrow Lanford and Ruby Nell Lanford Watson and brother-in-law, Phillip Lanford.

Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Westview Memorial Park conducted by Dr. Bev. T. Kennedy, Jr.

Keith will be missed. How well I remember when he and his family came to Laurens. He immediately captured our love with his fun loving personality. Pam this is a road that many must follow but know that you are not alone. There are no rules to follow, just take your time and lean on friends and family who love you. . You are in my prayers.

Such a sad day when you lose someone that you've known for 60 years. My wife and I have been enjoying Edisto for 48 years and it until about 10 years ago that I found out Keith loved it as much if not more. We attended The First Baptist one Sunday morning and after the service, some members wanted to know where we were from. Lauren's ? Do you know Keith and Pam Blore? I got a feeling that Keith has already cornered another fisherman, Simon Peter, to find the hotspots and honey holes. Weren't we all blest to have known him?

Pam, Eric and Norman, Keith's passing breaks my heart for you. He was such a fine man, willing to tend a hand to anyone at a minutes notice. I will always miss his laughter and good, fun nature. I can only imagine Keith, Duane and Mike Stroud together! Oh, some tales are being told right now!!! Rest in peace until we see you again. God be with you, Pam, Eric and Norman, today and all of the days to follow.
